Pumpernickel Bakery is a multi-level bakery café with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. They serve fresh breads, cakes, sandwiches and breakfasts, along with good coffee and tea – a great way to start a walking tour or to recharge after a busy Kathmandu day.
Inside, you will usually find a mix of local regulars and travelers, people reading, working on laptops or planning their next trek. It is a calm little haven compared to the busy streets just outside, which is one of the reasons we like using it as our meeting point.
