10/10 Would Come Back Again These guys are awesome!! I went solo travelling for the first time and Santosh was my guide. He showed me around Thamel and told me about the culture. It was great because I had no idea what was happening when I was by myself - I did not know what I was looking at most of the time. It was super enlightening to learn about the culture, structures and people. He took me around the city through some courtyards, into some temples and other buildings. These are some photos of Thamel. I retraced my route to take these photos but Santosh is really patient if you’d like to take photos during the tour. Sehr informative Tour. Der Guide hat viel über Geschichte, Kultur und Religion Nepals erzählt. Man läuft ca 3 Stunden zu Fuß. Die Treppen zum Temple sind schweißtreibend. Wir würden die Tour weiterempfehlen.

An amazing tour and time with Sandip! I honestly couldn’t recommend taking a tour with Sandip enough! Within minutes of meeting him, I knew I was going to have an amazing time. It genuinely felt less like I was on a guided tour and more like I was exploring Kathmandu with a friend. Sandip is incredibly knowledgeable and so passionate about Buddhism, and the history & culture of Nepal. He has an amazing personality, a great sense of humor, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. We walked through the city while he shared the history of Kathmandu, stopped for a drink along the way, and then prepared ourselves for the stairs up to Swayambhunath Temple! Once we reached the top, we took some time to sit and talk while Sandip explained the history of the temples, the meaning behind the symbols, and the significance of everything around us. And just a heads up—there will be a quiz later, so make sure you have your listening ears on! 😂 I absolutely loved this experience and had such an amazing time. I feel incredibly grateful that I got to experience Swayambhunath with Sandip as my guide. His knowledge, humor, and passion made the experience truly special, and I would 100% recommend him to anyone visiting Kathmandu! You will not regret it!!

Pashupatinath Temple & Boudha Stupa with the best guide ever A very moving and memorable visit to Pashupatinath Temple & Boudha Stupa a few days after the floods and landslides in Rasuwa. The Nepali people are amazing. Both places are very interesting, and with such a knowledgeable guide even more so. It´s easy to book directly on the Amazing Kathmandu website. Communication was uncomplicated, too. The company has good values.

She grew up in the city, so she really knows it inside out and takes you to all the best local food spots you’d easily miss on your own. I enjoyed this trip because it offered a sense of calm that was instilled not only by the places we visited but by my guide as well. A very knowledgeable and eager young man who strives to make sure you learn about the history of the place. We carried interesting conversations on topics such as religion, economics, history and life in general. I enjoyed listening to stories about Buda's life and the significance of the places we visited. The tour was ready to book and I received immediate texts from the Santosh, the guide. I recomand this company and Santosh for a well organized tour. Enjoy!

I took the tour on my own. The guide asked about my interests and provided a wealth of information on each topic. He was accompanied by an intern who also participated and enriched the visit. The time flew by because it was so interesting. It lasted longer than scheduled, and they made sure I was close to my hotel. Excellent!

From the moment we met, he made me feel welcome and shared so much knowledge about Nepal, Buddhism and the history behind the places we visited. Half Day tour in Kathmandu I had a wonderful experience touring Kathmandu with Frannkey, who guided me for around six hours across three remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. Despite the limited time, he planned the itinerary thoughtfully, ensuring that I could fully appreciate each location without feeling rushed. Besides, I love his clear and simple explanations of the history and cultural significance of each place. He made complex stories easy to understand, which greatly enhanced my appreciation of the sites. Overall, I highly recommend Frannkey to anyone looking for a well-organized and insightful tour in Kathmandu.

Incredible, insightful, engaging, and fun! I took a very well-curated and in-depth tour of Patan Square with Frankie, whose knowledge of the area and enthusiasm for sharing it were top-notch. He led a fairly diverse group, making sure that he accounted for each tour-member's individual interests. Also, it was marvelous to discuss Nepal's economics and foreign relations with someone who loves and understands history! 10/10 would do again.

L’aperitivo prevede più tappe nei locali iconici del quartiere in modo tale da avere la possibilità di girare la sera per Thamel ed apprezzarne i colori, gli odori e la vivacità. Fantastic tour in Kathmandu A very thorough, informative and friendly tour of Kathmandu's Swayambhu Mahachaitya (monkey temple). Santosh is very knowledgable and focuses the tour on areas that interest you. My tour ended up being 4 hours long as we disussed the sites at such length and Santosh had so many interesting stories to tell! As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe throughout the tour, and was even offered to be walked back to the starting point or supported in finding a taxi as we finished in the dark. I would definitely recommend this as a must for those visiting Kathmandu, especially if you have limited time.

Fully recommended! Sandip was a knowledgeable and fun guide with the secret super power of coming up with the most creative individual nicknames. He made my tour a great experience that I fully recommend! In addition to Boudha Stupa and Pashupatinath, I also got to visit a Tibetan Monastery and had an intensive sound healing bowl introduction.

Swayambhuthan Walk This was an absolutely amazing walking tour with a very knowledgeable guide. I learned so much and had a wonderful day. I could not have appreciated these sites without a guide. I strongly and highly recommend. This is a must do to appreciate Nepali culture and history.
