FAQ

Do I need cash in Nepal?

Yes. You must carry enough Nepali rupees for the entire day. At most heritage sites, monasteries, temple donation areas, trekking checkpoints, local ticket counters and smaller tourist attractions, international cards and digital payments do not work.
